Easter's Visit

Mr. Anderson invited the class to his store last week. Once again we were spoiled about his  and the staff's generosity! Thank you Easters!

Pollination Experiment

Each kid made a flower with a lunch bag inside of them. In the bags were crushed Cheetos and powder sugar. Each student got their hand wet and then went around putting their hand inside each bag. This was a great way to show how insects pollinate.

Trip to the Greenhouse

The class went to the high school to check out the FFA Greenhouse. We planned a lot of fun activities.

Cinco de Mayo
We had a busy day on Friday celebrating Cinco de Mayo (a day early). First Miss Martin and some of her Spanish 4 students came and taught us the history of Cinco de Mayo. Then they showed us some traditional dances! After that we enjoyed watching Mrs. Wagoner split open the pinata! Finally we enjoyed some nachos to finish off the day!

Arbor Day

MidAmerican Energy came and showed the students how to plant a tree. They were always very generous and gave each students a flower to take home to plant! 🌳
