I was born, raised, and attended school in Clarinda. I graduated
from Clarind a High School in 2007. After graduating, I attended classes at IWCC
and obtained my Associates Degree. From there I decided to transfer down to
Northwest Missouri State where I pursued a degree in Elementary Education. I
graduated from NWMSU in December of 2012 after student teaching here in
Clarinda. This will be my fifth year teaching. I not only teach here in
Clarinda, but I also coach basketball. This winter will mark my sixth year
as junior varsity and assistant varsity coach for the Clarinda Boys Basketball
Team.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy playing basketball and golf, watching
sports (Go Cubs!), landscaping, and spending time with my family, friends, and
wife, Megan. I also enjoy going on walks with and playing with our yellow lab,
Bogie.
I know the students and I will have a great year learning together.
